kept changing charaters looks (spoilers)

Why did they kept changing the appearence of all the characters when dante went lower and lower into hell? At first he was just fine but as soon as he got to lust he was a gangley teenager, when they got to dis they looked like something out of a saturday morning action cartoon. After that, well I dont know how to describe him in that form, other than seriously nonthreatening looking. Then when he got to the 9th level he was HUGE!!! He made heman look like a baleamic.

At least we didnt have to see satans junk throughout the last fight, lol.

They had different directors do different parts of the film, ala Batman: Gotham Knights. Now, I don't recall if Knights used different animation styles along with the different directors, let alone character designs- but at least based on the fact that most people know what the characters are supposed to look like, they were able to pull it off relatively seamlessly.

One gets the impression that with this film, none of the directors or animators ever actually collaborated with each other- and no one from EA bothered to give them anything more than a rough idea of what everyone and everything was supposed to look like. As a result, characters randomly change appearance throughout the movie for no real, apparent reason. Just be grateful they didn't use different voice actors for each segment, or NO ONE would have been able to follow the thing.

I know it's a dirty game, but it's the only one The Man left us to play.

and all the while beatrice's boobs just kept getting bigger and bigger with every passing chapter (also where did she get scissors?)

so kids when you die you get a special pair of sissors that you can use to help yourself in a chance to *kill the devil.

*take note that not all chances at killing the devil are succesful. In fact any attempt to kill satan is pretty stupid. We dont even know why we get a pair of fabric sissors when we die. I guess they are actually ment to chop of his dick or something like that. But I have a feeling that no pair of sissors would be able to do that.

I didn't see any scissors on her. I thought she attacked Satan by scratching at him with her nails.

Right before she attacked Lucifer they showed she had a pair of scissors behind her back and then she charges him with them and bounces off his force field.

And yeah, it was ridiculous. She's completely stripped nude, is a shade/soul, and is in Hell and she somehow found a pair of scissors in an empty 'room' with nothing in it.

Made absolutely no sense. Not to mention even if it did make sense it was horrible cliched.

Not only did the characters' appearance change, the overall animation quality simply got worse.

It was quite jarring to from a very well illustrated and atmospheric first layer of hell to (as you made reference to) Saturday morning cartoon quality in the second layer.
