I was never against the lost boys having a sequel. I always thought that if done properly I'd love to see a sequel and that if a really well written script had been produced, if Schummacher had directed, if Thomas Newman had composed the score again, if it had a good budget and a cinema release it could be a really successful, entertaining movie. It's really sad that these sequels were made the way they were. They're both dreadful.
If you're going to make a sequel please do it properly.
This one did. Sorry you had to make a sloth comparison to the first 'sequel' (the Tribe) which was absolute garbage.
So this particular sequel didn't feature special cameos by our fave LB clan. As you recall, David died in the original, and Sam-later (R.I.P. Haim); Starr and Michael probably flew coop to another life (no pun), and that leaves Gpa; who would be deceased by now, and mom Emerson (Lucy). So....that obviously leaves just our old, beloved Frog bros.
A decent sequel does not necessary mean entire 'cast reunite', which you well know. And this 2nd 'installment' DID do 'justice' to its original. Basically, 5 years after the fact, Alan Frog is called upon once again, to do 'vampire-killer slaughter'; which the Frog bros. gained their "rep" for.
