This movie was pretty painful to watch and is very predictable as far as the plot and story goes.. But I try to give everything a try but this was just painful.

Yeah....
Incredibly difficult, but it is a little kid movie so I'll give it a pass. But DAMN.

shareAccording to a 21 June 2010 article in 'The Hollywood Reporter' (see the News link on the Imdb home page for 'First Dog'), it is a 28-pound Queensland heeler. The article also quotes Bryan Michael Stoller (writer-director-producer-actor[the letter carrier]-editor-music director of 'First Dog' as saying the movie was made for less than $3,000,000 whereas Imdb lists (in Box Office/Business) $6,000,000 as the estimated budget.
