Women with Too Many Tattoos...

I'm a guy and I watch this show mainly because I saw it last season and thought it was going to be a one-off, I'm surprised its back. Anyway, the thing I really dont find attractive in alot of women these days is the fact that many are getting way too many tattoos to the point where its not really quite feminine. Personally I dont mind seeing a small cute one on the shoulder, the ankle or maybe even the wrist but when it gets to the point where its covering a woman's entire arm or their back or even written words across the chest and neck...I find that so unattractive and wonder what the hell were they thinking.

Please dont get offended if you're fans of the ink, I was just wondering if anyone here knows or can chime in with their thoughts on the issue.

"A commitment to cinema means to lead a technically deviant lifestyle."

To answer your question of "what the hell they were thinking?" I will simply say because they liked it. It's the same reason why anyone does anything because they enjoy it and it is THEIR preference. They have the right to do whatever they like regardless of how unfeminine it seems.
The terms feminine and masculine are socially constructed. It doesn't mean it's the blueprint of how ALL women or men should be;therefore you saying it doesn't seem feminine is saying that this is how a woman is NOT supposed to act. When there is no way a woman (or man) is supposed to or not supposed to act.

Wait, who on the show has too many tattoos? Haha. I know Sally has some but I didn't think she had that many.

reply

Angel has a half sleeve.

your mom, rated e for everyone

reply

I thought she just had one, big tattoo on her upper arm. Is it really a sleeve?

reply

Taylor has like a huge ass butterfly on her gut. which she flashed last year.

reply

I have no idea.
I thought it was a sleeve but it could be just a big one.

Late reply, but what a wonderful comment and response! I salute you and agree completely!

People seem to forget that it's about finding the right partner for you, not conformning into something that can attract anyone and everyone (partly because it doen't work that way, different people have different ideals). That's not true love. If you change simply to attract someone, then you gonna surprise them when you finally can't hold up the charade anymore and go back to being yourself.

Being yourself should surely be reason enough for someone to love you. And if they don't, then they're the wrong partner and you can move on. If you're not happy in your life though, like the girls on this show, they should se a psychiatrist before they see a "matchmaker" via bootcamp on TV!

But I guess mentally unstable and socially awkward people are entertaining...

I love cute girls with lots of tattoos! Because it often shows that they are creative and they tend to be more intelligent and have a deeper thought process. They tend to be tougher and not prissy weak. Individuality and creativeness are a turn on for me.

I don't really like those crappy weak dumb quick thoughtless, "Oh my God like I totally want to get a dolphin or a butterfly" and then they get it, it's the size of a quarter and from far away it looks like a blotch or birthmark. It's lame.

But also a lot of girls now are wanting to get more tattoos just because of trendiness and no originality. Like I'm so kool I got a tattoo.

So I'd rather see a girl with tons of tattoos and cute or little or none at all. Either one or the other.

Some people find them cute, some people find it trashy.

I'm kinda neutral, I do think there are specific places men should get tats, and different spots for women to get tats.
But in the end, people are free to do whatever they want with their body.

reply

Not a big fan of "tramp stamps". Too often, I find the girls who get them live down to the title.

reply

I agree completely...but I'm old school. So many times I think "Man, she could have been so pretty if she wasn't covered in ink" Like Kat Von D

Full sleeves can be okay on the right woman, but Neck Tattoos or upper chest...No way

But it often is an addiction and if you're in that lifestyle...it just happens

reply

I agree, not a fan of tattoos. First off, I think why waste the money on it? and it definitely ruins some women's looks. I dated one chick with 4 tattoos. now my rule is no more than two, and they cannot be visible unless they are naked

Women are not here to fit your idea of femininity. You think you fit everyone's idea of masculinity? Probably not, but I'm sure to some people you do. Are you going to live your live conforming to society's standards? Based on your feelings you probably the type of person who would but not everyone is like that. Am I a fan of tattoos everywhere? Not at all--on both men and women. But do I care? Not at all. I understand that I have my standards and what I expect which is a personal thing and not everyone will meet those standards or is here to meet those standards for me. Its called DIVERSITY.
