I see how you think this show is sexist.
Steve really wants to help these clueless and hopeless women find a lifetime partner. Just because he is zooming in on their errors, doesn't mean he is a sexist. Think of him as a doctor. A doctor does a check up on you to find anything that might be wrong...he finds it, and tells you what you need to do to treat it..if you don't listen to the doctor, that problem is going to still be there and you won't get healed.

Zooming in on errors is a good thing. It is called 'tough love'. But he criticizes the women on things I feel he would not be overly critical on men about, and especially on tough love couples I saw how sometimes he can play favorites with the guys and let things slide with them he wouldnt with the women. He is very sexist indeed. He doesnt go about many things in the way he should and is giving these women unhealthy mindsets about themselves and other women instead of positive ones. He is imposing sexist viewpoints onto them and making them very judgemental. He begs them to be less judgemental of the guys and less picky yet constantly talks about their looks and how they should change this or that to get a guy. What a load of crap.

ya i've seen just 1 episode, and must say, not only is this show NOT helpful for girls with dating issues, but his advices are most times arrogant and ignorant for what a woman needs. also, he picks up alot of girls who are insecure and KILLS them with "tough love" which means he just makes them feel like losers.
bad bad tv show.

^ He does not do any of this. If you watched the new season you'd see he is hard on the guys. He is harder on the ladies because that is what his JOB is, to help women more than men. He does a fine job, it's called tough love for a reason. Steve tells the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. IN the end he is only helping the women.
