I mean honestly, where do they get these subtitle typists from? There is literally an error in EVERYTHING I watch, and if there are subtitles, I have them on as I am a bit hard of hearing. There is a mistake in this, when she goes to the Army recruitment place, and enquires about the $40,000, she is asked for other reasons to join and she quite obviously says 'It would be nice to travel, I spose' but the subtitles say 'I've been asked to travel, I suppose'. So - Who on earth has asked her to travel? And where to?
I really don't think the subtitlers pay any attention to what they're typing, and I would like that job.

If it's a boy, do you think it will look like Rodney? It doesn't matter as long as it's healthy!

If you are going to complain about their typing, then maybe you should run your post through a spell checker since you spelled 'inquire' wrong.

Rubbish.
What has my spelling got to do with incorrect transcription?
Anyway, you can spell it either way. One way is just as correct or incorrect as the other.

CLEARLY, you're of the 'amerikun' ilk. From an orthographic perspective, "Enquire" is the British, Commonwealth, and more belletristic spelling of the word. Please don't be so puerile as to demean the very valid point the writer offered. Such pugilant behaviour within a friendly forum environment, such as IMDB offer, is wholly inappropriate. There are far greater things you could be cavilling about that would attract the interest of others.

The subtitles on the Blu-Ray I just watched said "It would be nice to travel."

Carol your Blu-Ray has better subtitles than my paltry DVD then.
