Olivia Coleman

I love this lady!! Shes so good at acting, even though she's sooo pregnant, she had to be miserable! She rocked it in Broadchurch, in Hot Fuzz, and in this too. Hope she keeps getting these fantastic roles.

She sucks.

She is amazing in this series. I always enjoy her work. Olivia is a really talented actress.

Hi cindiatgzg,

I think she's the best thing in the series.

reply

Totally agree.

Indeed she's a very good actress--even all knocked up as she was! I don't know how she did it. Like you said it would've been trying for sure even on the best of days. I saw her and Hugh on The Graham Norton Show earlier in the year promoting the mini-series, which was reason for my adding it to my must watch list. And I'm glad I did as it was really good

The best thing in the miniseries. I was always wanting her to be onscreen.

i agree, she is a wonderful actress.

She is - for me - the ONLY saving grace. Hollander, Hiddleston and Dr. House are all terrible.

You should check out "Locke". She is only a voice in it (it's a strange, but really good, film about a man driving alone in a car and talking to people on the phone). She's excellent in it, so moving.

reply

She was one of my favorite characters in this. Completely believable.

reply

Yea she was great in this.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

reply

I think she is a great actress too.

Her scene where she talked about the gassing of the children in Syria was simply amazing. She tried to smile to ease the pain of the story she was telling, then instantly switched to tears and compassion. Very difficult to do as an actor, and obviously the Golden Globes agree.

reply

Spot on! You described her talent to a T.
