Surprised by Subject Matter

This is a cute film. When I read the description I expected it to be an American movie because of the subject matter.

Now don't get me wrong, we here in the states can be very narrow minded, but gay love is not a new topic (as you can tell by reading our news headlines). And I too can be narrow minded, since I was surprised that this was about UK Indians. I thought the subject was strictly taboo in that culture, but here was a quirky comedy that handled it light-heartedly and with love.

It was nice to be schooled. Like I always say, "learn something new everyday."
