This film is the saddest, in my opinion, of the 5 Oscar Nominated shorts (2010). What a poor, darling little boy this young actor plays ... Really a tear-jerker, this is. Take tissues.

I saw the Oscar nominated live action shorts at the Ritzty cinema in Brixton in a one off screening. They're doing the animated shorts on Sunday 18th of April.
At least one of the films, A Matter of Loaf and Death, was made for television. But these films should be shown in cinemas before the main feature, although these are quite long shorts, all running for over fifteen minutes. Usually when cinemas show a short film before the main feature it's less than ten minutes long.
