Storyline is juvenile but visual effects are outstanding

Story - 5/10
Visuals and Special Effects - 10/10

I find the storyline to be totally juvenile, sadly I'm not 10 yrs old anymore to enjoy it fully but MAN! major kudos for the special effects.

I just wish Michael Bay would start using his talent for visual effects in movies that are a little bit more cerebral and require an IQ above room temperature to enjoy ... Oh yeah right, it's Michael Bay ... never mind.

I gave it 6/10.

This post pretty much sums up how I felt about it too.

Bay is only the director and he gets way too much credit. The real talent goes to companies like Weta digital and others who create the visual effects for movies. All bay does his blow stuff up and direct the scenes.

That's how I felt about this movie. I liked it just for the special effects.

Indeed is very kiddy. Feel like wstching a movie of teenagers show. Oh my god.

That actress really can't get far in acting. Her lips has so much fillers looked like being stung by bees.

Love the effects but terrible actor & actress. So unfortunate

Funny, when Michael Bay makes a Transformers movie about Sentinel Prime using a device to open up a portal over Chicago in order to enslave the human race, you people bash the film for having either a "bad/incoherent plot" "paper-thin/juvenile plot" or "no plot". But when Joss Whedon makes a Marvel movie about Loki using a device to open a portal over New York in order to enslave the human race, it's regarded as the greatest superhero movie ever made.

The double standards are beyond cringeworthy!

What is cringeworthy here is your total lack of understanding of what makes a movie work for GROWN UPS !!!
