Could be this documentary the one that opens the eyes of people in Europe?

One common assumption in Europe is that while media is often biased, it's considered that mainstream media is mostly honest, at least honest to a certain degree, let's say not perfect but honest enough. Something similar can be said about documentaries.

Then we have this HBO's documentary about Woody Allen. Unlike other topics, Woody Allen is quite known among people who love movies in Europe. So this documentary is being a blow for people who believed in a minimum degree of honesty in mainstream media.

This article is particularly fun. Love it. Warning, it's in Spanish, but it's worth a reading, even with a translator.

The whole article feels like the journalist was crying out a big (and someway hilarious) "WTF?!?".

I love when the journalist says "I wonder whether the rest of documentaries in HBO [and I'd add Netflix] will be as cheating as this one, I can't help but feeling suspicious, as I do when I read the New York Times, that newspaper that once I idealized". Oh, my. Oh, my 😄

Many people in Europe are gonna get a red pill about modern media with this documentary 😂

I can see why Allen and his wife didn't participate. The director also did The Hunting Ground hit piece on campus rape. Featuring the discredited 1/5 women raped statistic, and the fake Rolling Stone article.

Four episodes starting Sunday.
