Why are they writing Meredith Eaton as a complete bitch?

I mean really. In episode 115, she asks the team to do her a favor, which would not be cool as a goat agency, and she treats MacGyver like crappie. Calling him out on "improvising". WTF?

Autocorrect error: goat should read govt

Think they're doing a good job. Tough boss character. Keeps them in line.

Yeah she surprisingly picked up the tough boss role well after Thornton left. She's tough but she is fair and caring to her team.

She's not being a bitch. She's being a concerned boss. She told MacGyver that she was afraid his improvising might not get him out of trouble someday and she doesn't want to watch him die.

I thought her "Encyclopedia Brown" line was funny.

I'm sorry but I am always distracted by the fact she is a little person. I'm not trolling or anything and I have nothing against little people. But it is always awkward in scenes where they shoot her from like knee-height and they are all staring down at her, or she is interacting with them.

Plus I liked Sandrine Holt better. She does a much better job playing the stern, kind of bitchy authority figure. I have seen her play that same role on a few different shows.

Meredith Eaton's role is really good glue to keep the team cohesive. She has always been one of my favorite actresses. She is not bitchy, she's the boss and she skirts the line of authoritative and caring very well.

I don't read it as being a complete bitch. She just don't have faith in improvising. She told him that before and in that scene she was worried about him messing with evidence. I think it was a reasonable reaction for someone who has not been in the field with Mac
