Worth watching or just confusing? (SPOILERS)

Well, it was certainly entertaining to watch (excellent acting performances), but I'm not understanding everything, in fact, the main character seemed just as confused by everything that happenened in the movie as I was.

The answers might mean the difference between a good movie and a pretentious failure.

*** SPOILERS ***
-Am I to understand that the girl was the husband of the main character in alien worm life? How would that make sense if the aliens didn't have feelings like love to begin with?
-What's with the water that acts strange around the main character? Just het memory of the pool when she got infected as a kid?
-Who is related to who? Daughter/mother? Are those the original alien worm relations or also the human ones?
-Did the main character get infected as a kid or as a grown woman?
-Were the human minds still sentient and living in symbiosis with the alien mind?
-What about the infected kid(s)? They don't have full grown minds yet? Does the infection halt the human development from there on?
-Why did the astronaut have to kill everyone?
-What's with the astronaut's sisters? Did he really have a twin sister and the woman he infected was also his sister or what?
-How exactly did the worms reach spacefaring capabilities?
-Why was the main character the only one to have all the answers to the podlocation?
-What happened to her baby when she got in the accident, just lost it?

-True, they said human feelings were new, but I guess they mated to propagate.
-I think she was remembering her slug swimming from the pod in the lake? Not sure.
-I think the relationships are just slugs, 2 girls were spouses, I think the little pregnant girl was the man's wife?
-Judith was born infected, remember she was told the slug was her father, he 'joined' I guess with mom's egg, and her mom died giving birth
-Yours, mind, ours (not sure, but when taking meds Judith did still function as human)
-kids ???
-I think he killed the other 2 to keep secret the pod he met in space
-The sister he killed was probably older, and human. His twin that was cut off his face became Judith didn't she? Her dad the undertaker said a baby girl (dead) was brought in and his wife took care of the body, nine months later Judith was born, her dad thought his wife was pregnant by the dead girl's father, he always resented Judith. Technically, he was correct.
-pods in space? we'll never know, but at the end they needed help getting out there
-good question, because later the astrnut barfed up a pod
-she lost it because something about humans and slugs can't have kids

At the end I liked it because it was really different, made me concentrate, good acting. I just gave it a 5 tho.

Yeah, when you think about it the biology is kind of fuzzy. If the pod was the mother, why was her husband with her?

The younger girl was a male when they were all boneless chicken breasts/slugs. Maybe what they had was a strong bond more than love. Like, they were totally pair bonded.
