The voice actors

Overall, I thought Superman/Batman Public Enemies was pretty decent. Great action but simplistic storyline. At least, it's good to hear the voices of Tim Daily (Superman), Kevin Conroy (Batman), and Clancy Brown (Lex Luthor) again. I was a big fan of both Batman The Animated Series and Superman The Animated Series back in the 90's. I hope they keep using THESE voice actors for future animated movies.

Yes, it's gotten to the point where hearing other actors portray these characters doesn't sound right.

Especially Kevin Conroy. He's the Best Batman Voice ever. Same goes for Clancy Brown and Lex Luthor.

Sadly, it won't be that way for the next movie, "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths". There's a preview on the 2-disc edition of "Public Enemies" and an entirely different cast will be performing the Justice League (William Baldwin as Batman??? ugh! please).

Another Baldwin voicing an iconic superhero? Damn.

Well, Adam Baldwin (Superman/Doomsday) isn't related to the big, Hollywood Baldwin clan.

SUPERMAN: Do us both a favor and buy one.

Either way, I still prefer Tim Daily voicing Superman. But hey, that's just me.

And Kevin Conroy as Batman. That's just a given.

Kevin Conroy IS Batman! The only voice who ever really fit the role.

Overall, I liked Adam Baldwin's Superman over the others. Tim Daly's work is good, but he has too much of an 'everyman' quality to his voice that makes it somewhat un-heroic. George Newbern was so-so, my main complaint with his Superman was that he often came off as winy when he played angry.

And Clancy is just great as Luthor - although I'm always waiting for him to shout "Spooooonge Booooob!" at any given moment :)

I was really nice to hear the original cast in this movie!

There is one more uncredited voice role whose identity I've uncovered with the help of James Harvey, who runs the website The World's Finest. Billy Batson's single line ("Shazam!") was voiced by Rachael MacFarlane (Nightshade).

You know, I would have liked to have heard Jonathan Frakes voice Superman.

Ol Wil Riker does have the heroic voice that would be cool.
I don't like the guy they got for batman in the JLA movie everybody else sounds pretty good though

I once told a Star Wars fan man my plan for Darth Binks. His reply He cried "Meesa gonna kill you!"

reply

Hey, he's Xanatos so that's good enough for me.

About the whole Crisis on Two Earths business though, I won't be buying it. Kevin Conroy not voicing Batman is a ball-buster for me.
