What did eazy mean end cubes career?

He said "we'll go back to the studio and end his career", probably referring to all the dissing on "Efil4zaggin" or just the idea that the album would be so great it'd blow Cube's efforts out of the water. Obviously that didn't happen and that album barely even gets mentioned any more compared to the debut, although I quite like it.
