How many animals do you think were harmed or killed while making this?

When the producers actually sink the island in the end, do you really think the cast and crew had time to actually get the animals off the island? It's a shame to think what movie studios do these days to make a buck, totally disregarding animal life.

I have to return some video tapes.

not sure if joking... or just stupid.

reply

I think his stupid

reply

What's stupid? Weren#t you worried about where all those giant bees were going to find flowers after the island sank?

reply

Oh no since there was a reason why insects are small now and why the island sank! Now if there is a new movie maybe SPACE? Aliens?

reply

THE MOVIE WORLD: The animals sank along with the island. But don't worry they will reappear somehow in about a month or two when the island resurfaces. Or they will just be reincarnated.

THE REAL WORLD: IT'S JUST CGI! GET OVER IT!

reply

well that sucks! maybe do you think there will be third movie?

reply

Here's the question of the third movie; what will cause the team to get off the island? You know, because for the first movie the center of the earth was slowly rising temperatures, and the second one was the island sinking in 3 days.

Any creative answers? Maybe the aliens might threaten to destroy the moon...

reply

maybe or life on the moon is coming but they have to keep the life form secret for NOW!

Since the goverment doesnt want that out yet

reply

The island and animals were all CG anyone harm would be the poor humans working long tedious hours creating it.

reply

I regret to inform you that all the animals died. They tried to save a few of the giant bees and butterflies but they all went down with the island. The U.S. government saw potential military applications with these insects for Operation: Float like a Butterfly, Sting like a Bee. Alas, it wasn't to be.

reply

the operation was called Float like Butterfly, Sting like Bee

it was a japanese project
