Fantastic, gripping + intense epic story!!

Now this was waaaaaay better than I expected! Thank God I didnt believe some of the "user reviews" here. I didn't think Chow would turn down Red Cliff to play in a film that wasnt just as exciting. I have to say tho..I feel sorry for the ppl that see this in the theater & have to go by the subs. I love foreign films, especially Chinese, but these subs flew by so fast in the best parts during great plots, even speed-readers would miss it. I was able to pause mines, thank God.
