Three eyed person

Does anyone know if the character with the three eyes and two noses is a real person? I thought perhaps he is a partial conjoined twin. If not, the make-up is incredible.

To me, it looked like a make-up job, but a good one. The left side was the actor with the right side being fake. As I said, a pretty good illusion though.

I agree. Some of Lou Diamond's facial expressions while talking to the guy are just plain wrong.

On another note, I wish the Leopard Woman was real. She's one who would definitely turn heads in public.

I'm 100% sure it was makeup/mask/sfx, it was quite obvious

the movie was horrible

Actually there was a man named Bill Durks that travelled with many SideShows (James E. Strait Shows, etc) that I believe was the model for the character you are asking about, I saw him in person around 1969 at the New York State Fair. I also believe that the character here and the character in the movie 'Funhouse' were both were intended as a homage to Mr. Durks. And yes they were done with makeup prosthetics.
I hope this answrs your question

Thanks very much for your explanation, icdrgon! You were very fortunate to see Mr. Durks in person. I thought this was an homage to a previous sideshow attraction, but I couldn't place the name. There's a picture of Mr. Durks here, and it's considerably more vivid than the character in this film:

It never occurred to me that the character in "Funhouse" was also an homage to him, but now that you mention it, I'm sure you're right.

I think they did a remarkable makeup job on that character in this film. I assume most of the other "freaks" were real – most of them would be called "urban primitives" rather than "freaks" these days, anyway.

The make-up for that particular carny freak was quite impressive and convincing.
