Just been blocked from a Facebook closed discussion group about IT

No message, no warning, but all trace of my activity on that discussion board gone.

I can only imagine maybe it's because I linked to a YouTube video, or maybe the post I made about how fat I thought the Losers were in their underwear in the swimming scene. Maybe that "underwear" word rang some alarms or something?

I'd already been barred from the Last Jedi discussion group, so maybe Facebook sucks for movie discussion, if you can be banned just like that?

Not sure why you'd be blocked from an IT discussion group. My guess is possible trolling for saying what you did. As for The Last Jedi, LOTS of Star Wars discussion groups on FB and FB pages messed with their settings to look for keywords since they wanted to block anyone spoiling the movie. You might've had some of those keywords that triggered your comments/posts to be blocked, deleted, or hidden.

I know The Star Wars Hub gave a heads up a week before The Last Jedi came up that they created a filter to look for keywords in posts. Heck, you couldn't post spoilers to previous Star Wars movies. They even did a test run with the whole "No, I'm your father" line from Empire Strikes Back. You said that line, your post/comment was deleted, blocked, or hidden until they remove the filter. Even posting a spoiler warning at the start of your post/comment wouldn't save your post/comment. It would still get blocked, deleted, or removed. Even mods were removing stuff if they managed to get through the filters.

Congratulations?

I am surprised they would block you without telling you the reason.

UPDATE: I remember that at the same time I was talking about the obesity or not of the Losers, I had also brought up the racist cult in Derry who burned down The Black Spot, a black nightclub, and compared their white robes on the night of the arson to the KKK. I think it was THAT which got me barred.

Maybe it's You?
