The miniseries lacks any kind of scares or actual threats or harm to the children, unlike this movie.
Yeah no one was scared by the original IT, that's why it's such an unknown film. Maybe if it had modern cameras and loud noises and Tim Curry ran at the camera and screamed it would've been good.
