Without a doubt the hardest scene to watch

I wont call it the hardest scene to watch but I will say it took "guts" on his part.
Peoples body images are a sensitive issue particularly at that age. For the sake of the actor, I hope he will try to work out a bit and lose some pounds. The older you get, the harder it gets.
The thing is that he really would be a good looking kid with the loss of the excess pounds.

I remember Jerry O'Connel of Stand By Me. He was the cubby kid in the movie who turned out to be a muscular and handsome adult actor. It was hard to believe it was the same person.

I wish the best for him and hopefully he will grow out of the weight issues and have a long healthy life. I liked what he added to the movie, minus the tits.

Yes, overweight people are much scarier than multi-layered teeth monsters, I forgot. I thought generally it was a really well done scene, and if all you could focus on was Ben's weight, I feel you missed the point.

That's kind of cold. And it not like he was the first chubby kid you have ever seen? It seems also like kid actors who are chubby get thin when they get older.

It was stupid too. Kids don't go swimming in their underwear. That's what shorts are for.

Hey he turns out to be Jay Ryan....give him a break!
