Runtime?

Not sure about the run time but it is being split into two films.

Runtime is 2 hours 15 minutes. Just announced.

So it won't be as long as some feel should be necessary...

I never expected it to be close to 3 hours myself. Matter of fact since I thought it would be shorter, I'm rather pleased to know it's going to be this long... er. If it's a faithful adaption that focuses on the core components (or it's simply a solid film), then I'm good.
