I wonder how it it will be divided into the two parts

Because the book goes back and forth between childhood and adulthood a few times each. So I can see them following suit, though this might make for difficult pacing.

Or, maybe the first movie will be their childhood, second movie adulthood, almost like a sequel. From the looks of the trailer, this is a possibility, though it could easily be them not wanting to give that away. Because showing all of their childhood in the first film could give away things that are better revealed at the climax of the story.

I keep hearing one with kids and a sequel with the adults. I know the ending overlapsed with childhood and adult losers club fighting it. But since the kid version failed it may not be so bad showing how it went down before hand. That way they along with the audience will be shocked to find out it came back

The cast list makes it look like it'll be just the kids in this movie. I'm not sure that makes sense given the structure of the book, but I guess we'll see how it works once both movies are made.

I wonder *why* it's going to be divided into two parts. If you're going to tell the story, tell the damn story. Don't chop it in half and make us wait two fucking years for the rest of it.

DUDE......the book is enormous. Go read it to get an idea of why it HAS to be two film's. There is no way to tell this story with one movie unless you are willing to sit your ass down for 4-5 hours....chillax...

Part II better start off with the killing of that homosexual dude under the bridge like it did in the book. That was a creepy and horrifying event!

I forgot about that... yeah, that was awful.
