I hope pennywise gets plenty of screentime

I got the impression reading somewhere on here that penny wise will get a lot less screen time in this movie (as opposed to the mini series) and that It will present itself more so in the form of the kids fears. Now I do want to see the fears but I still want to see the clown the most.

The scary clown doll is hiding under my bed.

That's the way it is in the book. It appears in a lot more different forms, but still often takes the shape of the clown. Especially when they're adults. Only a couple encounters with the Losers feature the clown: Ben's clown mummy, Mike spotting Pennywise, Bev hearing Pennywise's voice coming from the sink, Bill seeing Pennywise in 29 Neibolt Street, the album, Eddie's hospital dream... You know what, that is still quite a lot.

From what we've seen it looks like Pennywise will appear in the Neibolt Street showdown and the sewer fight, which are two parts in the book where the clown doesn't appear.

Will Eddies dream be in the movie ?

Really, really hoping for this to be included. I feel like it is one of the most vivid scenarios in the book and to exclude it would be a major disservice.

I third that. Eddie's Bad Break scared the pom-poms out of me!

I hope Pennywise is waiting in your bed.

I hope the film does not cater to the likes of you. There are loads of scary clown movies. I want a faithful adaptation to the book.
