What do you think WON'T appear in the film?

We've all read the book and we know how heavy it gets at points. What do you think they axed?

Obviously the orgy scene is gone. There's no way it'd ever make it into the movie.

I think Avery will die, but I don't think it'll be as explicit as the book. Maybe have Patrick enter his room and then cut to him in the living room when his mom finds Avery.

Eddie Corcoran... Or at least, his full arc. It's pretty much pointless in the book IMO. Feels like filler

Any sexual things involving the kids, like Patrick doing the... Thing to Henry. Obvious reasons.

Personally I don't think they're gonna skimp on the gore, at least I hope not.

With the Paul Bunyon statue scene with Richie I don't know. I've scene one of the pics of the prop statue, but I've heard a few people say the scene won't be in, or something like that.

Finn himself said that it doesn't come to life... Which sucks. But if you think about it they could include it in part 2 as a flashback like in the book.

I could see Richie's adult encounter happen in the next one. If the first part does well, they might get a bigger budget and have the freedom to do it. I like both parts in the novel, I also find it kinda funny/goofy. I'm not sure how audiences who aren't familiar with the novel would take it. Part II would seem a better fit for it.

I think the Henry and Patrick scene in the garbage dump will happen. Maybe toned down but it will happen. The director said with the R rating they wanted to express the more ______ of the movie. I can't remember the word he used I'll look it up? Lol

I don't think the syphilis-ridden hobo is going to ask Eddie if he wants a blowjob. That probably wouldn't go over well with audiences, especially those who haven't read the book.

Well, we probably won't see Pennywise shape shift into anything else but the clown form. Been reading reports and stuff saying he remains a clown throughout the entire movie.

Has it been confirmed if they kept Mike's encounter with the bird? What about Stan's encounter with the drowned kids in the water tower?

I thought it was confirmed from pics from last year that we will see It as the lepar at least. There were Twitter pics or something of the lepar.

One of the kids has a cast with the word "lover" scrawled on it. Why?

If you look close someone wrote loser on the cast and a v was written over the s. In the novel the bullies break eddies arm and if I remember correctly they write loser on his cast.
