Anyone with half a mind would've realized from the start that this wasn't an ad campaign. I mean, come on. The movie doesn't come out until early 2017, and we're still relatively in the dark.

Absolutely 100% not. Warner Bros/New Line, ANY film studio, would NEVER run an ad campaign in which people dressed as clowns go out and terrorize people to promote a film. No way. These are just crazy people dressing as clowns who have no connection to the production of this film. It's a fun idea, but come on. No.

Idk, its still some that think otherwise. In fact, there's a theory that they sent some interns to dress up as a clowns and then that's when people started to ride the wave and it went to far then they wanted to be...

It's comes out late 2017 (September), not early 2017 so that's just even more bogus.
