Anyone have experience handling penguins?

I wonder, DO they ever attach to a human being, or do they really just respond to whoever holds the fish?

I've visited a dozen or so wild penguin colonies, and I've never seen animals so unconcerned with humans. Not just the relaxation that comes from never having to learn fear of hunting humans, but disinterest in anything that isn't food or other penguins. And they are passionately interested in other penguins, when humans visit their colonies they don't care, they're too busy squawking at each other and chasing each other and having super-busy social lives, they'll run right past a human's ankles to yell at another penguin without noticing the human is there.
