Did ANYBODY like this movie?

I liked it just fine. Went with my gf, no we do not have kids (and never will) and still liked the family oriented/cutsey humor. It wasn't great, there were some groan parts, but it was just fine for what it was. B-

Keep in mind that I think JC last really funny movie was Dumb and Dumber. The rest just have parts that are "classic Carey" around an ok plot and less funny moments. Just like this one, only a couple of "classic Carey" parts.

I enjoyed it.

I liked it. It was entertaining. Just go into it wanting to watch fluff, and that's what'll you'll get and maybe a few laughs.

I loved it! "Old School" Carrey, at his undeniable best.

Just saw it, and my son and I both liked it. The penguins were adorable! Just remember that it really is a kid's movie.

I saw Mr. Popper's Penguins yesterday. I must admit that the idea of merging Jim Carrey (ugh) with CGI penguins (ugh x 6) meant to me a completely unwatchable movie. Guess what? I WAS RIGHT! To me, there is only one thing good in this movie; Carla Gugino, and she didn't do nearly enough nude scenes in it. I had, really, one slight chuckle in this entire movie. One. Unfortunately, I had read the joke about killing two birds; that would have made it 2 chuckles. Every single joke and sight gag was rehashed from some other movie. Every joke was telegraphed, as was every single "comedic" moment. I had to clamp my mouth shut to keep from groaning every 4 minutes. I gave this a 1/10.

It looks cute, I don't expect that much from this movie.
