Threatened Legal Action.

It's about time that Hollywood started threatening legal action over Bollywood ripping off its films. I hope more film industries do the same. There is absolutely no reason why Bollywood can't come up with its OWN films and OWN ideas for films rather than directly ripping them off from better, more creative and more talented productions.

I guess the reason Bollywood rips so many ideas off is because when you boil it down to the core, Bollywood is just a bunch of no talent hacks churning out stolen ideas and concepts.

I agree to the most part

there is SO much good talent in bollywood, orignal ideas, new scripts

ALL of them get rejected for holylwood copies or they get modified to FIT IN with the mould of bolylwood movies!

recently though some films have broken the mould and come out on their own!

atleast "we are family" has aknowledged "stepmom" as its basis, comepletely agree with Rohannag, movies that are different and not run of the mill are most likey simply put on the back burner in favour of huge "Blockbusters" with an all star cast. Look at Karan johar for example, hes been doing the same generic boring movies and passing them off as new!
