My wife and I went to see the documentary Friday night at a "feast" hosted by the Alamo Drafthouse where they served a four-course meal paired with wines featured in the documentary (only two of which I had tried before). The movie was terrific, and the food and wine pairings were out of this world. Prior to the screening I'd only tried the Chupacabra Red, the Primer Paso, and the Nagual del Judith. Friday night we also tried a Tazi white and another red (name escaping me now), but all were excellent. I'm looking forward to watching the documentary again - I enjoyed it that much!

I'm torn because I want to buy Judith but it's 100 bucks. I feel like if I spend that much, I'll want to keep it uncorked for the rest of my life but then I think about never tasting it and I can't stand it. So I just decided not to buy it. EERRRGGG, I'm torn. It's so effing expensive!

are you making any progress in becoming a person that might not feel inadequate when comparing oneself to another?

reply

sadly no, friend. I guess I'm just not as well balanced an individual as yourself. :)
