LOL, Four Lions, I have Pakistani's who are Muslims since after having seen it, it's become one of their fave films.
Besides, Muslims are always portrayed as terrorists in Hollywood films, Rules of Engagement being the worst, so it's not like those horror movie flicks like Carrie, Misery and The Mist where there's a crazy female Christian who turns out to be a psycho are quite so bad, when in films such as True Lies it's a large group of them.
As for Jews, it's very rare I see a film (and I've seen plenty) that mocks Jews and gets away with it unless it's a Jewish production.

give it 10-20 more years, Americans didn't know what the hell a Muslim was until 9/11. need to gradually chip away the political correctness shield to ease their fears of being kidnapped & getting their heads chopped off.

well, I'm not going to care what people think if they judge me based on an industry that loves to churn out patriotic circle jerks of movies that turns whoever attacked us last into the villain of the decade because it's a sure profit. Hollywood's #1 goal in those crappy popcorn action blockbusters is to make money so they're going to play on emotions, whatever I won't pay for them.
unfortunately some will based on fear or emotion, many will be indifferent because "it's just a movie", and the ones who speak out against it get browbeaten by all of those combined like we're whiney sellouts with no valid reason to be. it's been like that for a long time, will take a long time to change, i don't even know where the hell to start so I just worry about my own viewing habits lol
