6/10. Here's why:

Writer/Director Dennis Lee clearly borrowed Wes Anderson's style when he made JESUS HENRY CHRIST. I'm saying this because of the way it's filmed (including 1 scene that's very... yellow) and some of the characters' personalities. However, he does come up with his own story elements, which is why the movie still feels unique even if it's not that funny. The performance that stands out is Samantha Weinstein's. No, not because she's a cross between an evil doll and SALLY from THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Her deadpan humour is great.

Any thoughts?

Unless you think Wes Anderson films only warrant 6/10, your logic is fallacious.

What next, someone paints a pianting like Van Gogh, and you dock points for, what, someone else doing it first? So the same thing is better when the first person does it? So the person who does it matters more than the content? Huh? Such shtty logic.

1) I've given different ratings to Wes' films.
2) No artistic style is 100% original. Even Vincent Van Gogh was inspired by someone else. The problem is when the style feels like copying.
3) "Dock points"? I said that this movie does have it's own style.
