Two minor gripes

Great movie, doesn't shy away from the sticky stuff, shows that bad things happen to bad people (and sometimes innocent people too), and contained some great dialogue and characterisation.

Two things that I didn't quite get...

Firstly, how did Joshua know Nino? Vincent started to ask him in the car after the meeting, and asked him how he knew it was Nino's house when they first arrived there, but there was no history revealed between Nino and Joshua.

Secondly, why would Nino's girlfriend come out of her hiding place and take a pot shot at 2 armed men who had just wiped out Nino's personal army? Surely she knew that wasn't going to end well for her? You can't seriously tell me she was so crazy in love with Nino she was thirsting for instant revenge (in which case she shot the wrong guy anyway).
