hasn't come to my town yet. This seems like one of those movies that will be an agony to sit through without knowing how it ends. Some of us have extremely weak constitutions.
sharewell you couldn't be more wrong. Acutally everything happens at the beginning and the rest is the consequences with the drama growing between the victims. It's very Ripsteinian.
shareIt doesn't end. You sit through the movie, which is based on a truly disgusting premise, and at the end, you're left hanging...no one gets any real help, the kidnappers never show up again with any film to be distributed, nothing. I can only foresee some major marital problems for Ana and a long stretch in prison for Daniel if he continues his nasty habits.

There was no "disgusting premise", it was no "proposition", it was based on a true story and a very true phenomena in Latin America (it happens other places as well, but Latin America seems to be the hotbed for such stuff). Very sad, but hopefully this movie will cause more people to come forward and a task force will be set up to catch these scum.
