Okay - I'm not American, so it's hardly appropriate for me to comment on the authenticity of his accent. But c'mon - what the eff is wrong with it? It sounds really over the top with a mix of Australian added in. It sounds so funny it makes you wonder if it's deliberate. Or is it?
But apart from that - he is funny as always. He's adorable.
A quick look at his IMDb page shows that he is from Queensland, Australia. However, I was born and raised in the United States and didn't notice anything strange about his accent. I didn't even consider that he wasn't from here until checking his page.

lol he is a good friend n great guy, made me laugh to hear him he is australian lives there most of the time and has a strong australian accent. he was great!
