Finally just watched. There's only 1 plot hole

So I know this is a pretty dead forum but I finally just finished watching this movie. Unsurprisingly there are multiple "Plot hole" threads but nobody mentioned what I thought was the most glaring one.

Keller's truck would have been parked somewhere on the property in back of the house. Holly Jones is seen parking moments before Loki arives. Also once police arrive on the scene after Loki calls it in, Kellers tools and gun (which I'll assume was registered since he wasn't a criminal) would have been found in a search of the property. The car and the physical evidence inside would have prompted a thorough search.

They might not have found him that night but they certainly would have before forensics started systematicly excavating the property.

Great movie and I loved the ending.

The fact that the trans am was still there was hilarious. That's the 1st thing they would have moved especially since there was a man made cave under it that wasn't really even concealed that well

"Holly Jones is seen parking moments before"

She wasnt parking it - she driving it ,and the tools , way off the property and probably into a lake.
Why would she park it on her property?

What part of the sequence of events at the end of the movie leads you to believe that that much time was able to pass before Loki arrived. She clearly drives the truck into the back yard hastily.

She does not back down the driveway and drive off with his tools and gun to ditch everything and then what, walk back to the house to kill the girl. There is still heavy traffic as Loki drives to the Hospital indicating it not likely to be latter than 9pm.

Agreed, the ending was weak. They would have found Keller right away either with dogs or the fact that there would be unusually short and fresh tire tracks right where that old car was sitting. Kind of took me out of the movie, but I loved the rest of it.
