good movie that could have been 30 min shorter

the suicidal creeps role was pointless in the movie.
also the alex guy tolerated the beating the whole movie and then opened his stupid mouth at the end. that was bizarre.
any way aside from plot holes , it was entertaining , atmospheric thriller.
hugh jackman was believable as distressed father,
also the cop was brilliant. the movie could have been a tight hour and thirty min thriller.
overall good acting and unique plot.
better than stupid superhero movies.

I'd say maybe 10 minutes shorter, he was probably trying to give the Jackman and gyhllenhaal stories equal screen time.

I'd say an hour shorter!
153 min is , er , 2:33

As soon as i saw the Trans Am i knew id seen it before , but strangely had no memory of it , probably because a lot of it was meandering , repeated , irrelevent , redundant (like the creep you mention)
...so i was just waiting for it to end , and i had to wait a loooong time!
