I did a marathon with Prisoners

I personally think Prisoners is a *beep* awesome movie. This film is well-acted, brilliantly written and directed, and should've gotten a lot more from the academy awards than just a Best Cinematography nomination. Hugh Jackman more than deserved a Best Actor nom for his incredible performance, as well as a possible nom for Jake Gyllenhaal. This movie was heavy upon watching it in theaters but such a rewarding experience when it's over.

They watched 5 movies in succession. That does qualify as a marathon in this context.

Great list - I would add The Vanishing to it if you get a chance - solid movie with some good performances from Sutherland, Bullock and especially from Bridges.

OMG yes... The *ORIGINAL* was an incredible and shocking film. VERY disturbing! The american remake was a joke, and twisted the original's bleak disturbing ending into a happy one. The original version, however, gave me nightmares. The remake had some good moments, but nothing that stood out in particular to the original one. My advice is to skip the Jeff Bridges remake and watch the original!
