Stupid old woman...did it not anger anyone watching Keller submit to her

He could have caught her off guard and over powered her in a SECOND.

I couldn't believe how easily he gave himself over to her..

That part was infuriating.

reply

I found it way more "infuriating" that she didn't kill him right away and instead decided to monologue her motif even though he didn't even ask "why".

reply

Yeah but her dialogue connected quite a few plot points.

reply

I think he was exhausted, desperate, and on the brink of feeling defeated. I think there were mixed emotions. So no, it didn't infuriate me how easily he submitted. I thought it made sense.

reply

But she didn't let her guard down, she kept the gun pointed at him, didn't look away, made sure he handcuffed and drugged himself with her cocktail, had him start up the car, kept the gun next to his head as she told him to move it so it would go off into his head in a split-second if he tried to make a move with the car...she knew what she was doing.

reply

Yea but he was willing to do all that if it meant getting his daughter back!

reply

He probably assumed if he killed her, he wouldn't find his daughter.

reply

Yes, that scene was so irritating.

Pardon my English...

reply

Why. She had the jump on him from the beginning

He could have revealed his intentions at a different time but it wouldn't have mattered she knew what was up from the jump

reply

That part is supposed to be infuriating. It shows the power of the film that the OP was so enraged by it he started a discussion here.

reply

Lol, WHY did he submit to her?? Oh, you mean besides the friggin cocked gun pointed at him?? And the promise to see his daughter again?? Are you honestly stupid? Or is this like the first movie you've ever seen? Lol, what a dumb comment. Seriously.

reply

She didn't want to leave his DNA all over her kitchen by shooting him there.
