It is clearly visible in several scenes of the movie. Most noticeable when he's on the phone and the ring is clearly meant to face the camera (pinkie finger). Any thoughts on why this should be "product placement" in this movie?
shareJake G. mentioned in an interview that his character is hiding from his past. He has tattoos that he's trying to hide and he mentions wearing a Freemason ring and that that was a conscious choice but he doesn't really say why he wears it, just that he does wear it as part of that character and that it has something to do with his past just like hiding his tattoos. I haven't exactly scoured the Internet looking at every interview out there so there may be more information as to why he chose to wear that specific type of ring but I do remember he mentioned it in his DP/30 interview as being a character choice he made for the role.
