Just a small thought, isn't Lee Pace kinda young to be playing the role of a dad of 3 kids?
Not that there's anything wrong or if he does a bad job, in fact, he's pretty great :)
The two younger children I could sort of buy, but he does seem to young to have a teenage daughter...unless his character was a teenager when he became a father I suppose.

He was 5 years old when he got married, 7 when the teenage daughter was born. What's not to believe?

shareLOL. got a good laugh from that one. He does not look like a gay JC Penny catalog model. But I do see where your coming from, he does look squeaky clean-cut in this movie. Very different from his rugged nomadic vampire Garrett in breaking dawn.
He does look kinda young looking for a teenage daughter in this movie. Facial hair could have helped a bit, but I don't think kids movie like facial hair on men, unless he's the villain or something.
Plus this IS a kids movie. What 4-12 year old is going to do the math.
The younger two I believed but the teenaged daughter seemed out of place for him. I honestly thought they would make a comment about him being her stepfather or something - rather than her bio dad.
At the end when he talks to the daughter's beau he seemed awkwardly young to have a kid that age.
