This was not the "worst film" that so many claim it was. It was Shakespeare compared to the horrid trash known as Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Try as I may, I can't find anything offensive about Marmaduke, except for two (thankfully brief) farting moments. The film is simply bland, generic, and by-the-numbers to the point that it feels more like a sitcom episode than a genuine movie.
shareThat's what my mother's best friend said too. Her kids didn't like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but they liked Marmaduke. So it's interesting you should say that.

I can't imagine how Diary of a Wimpy Kid could be considered "horrid trash"...but I was more excited for this simply because I'm crazy for animals, and movies about them. Especially dogs. Also, Marmaduke is a good comic strip.
