New thoughts on Max's car, or lack therof in the film.

Had some fresh thoughts this movie today. It always pissed me off how briefly the iconic car appears in the film, and how swiftly it's disposed of. And it suddenly occurred to me that the movie is making a statement that Max's old wheels that we love simply aren't strong enough for this apocalypse. This is a road car, best you can have in a world that's falling apart. But now that the world is blown to hell, it's actually a rather worthless tool. It can't stand up to the tank machines of Immortan Joe in the slightest. There's no roads for it to drive on and even have an advantage.
