Major goof, or did I miss something?

Haven't seen any mention of this error anywhere, yet it's a big one:

During the first chase, right before entering the sandstorm, Nux is driving alongside Furiosa; she gives a hard left to ram him, which results in the front, passenger-side tire being ripped to shreds and Nux is forced to slow down. Nonetheless, he doesn't stop; he tells Staple-Face (or whatever his name is) to get his 'blood bag' in the back... they fight... then it's just Max hanging on the back of Nux's car as they enter the sandstorm.
Nux spots Furiosa's truck, and he nitros it up, steps on the gas, and catches up with the truck with, visibly, 4 good tires.
WTF?

Director and/or production team with Alzheimer, or just easier to think audiences are stupid?
Seems to me this film is riddled with such errors and illogical bits, the magically vanishing arrowhead in Max's skull, which sometimes leaves a mark depending on the scene, being another of many.

Don't forget Furiosa pulling the knife from her side before we get a close up of it still in her. Joe's disappearing and reappearing windscreen throughout. His dead dead body not even being a body but just his clothes laid out on the sand....  This movie had so many goofs it was an insult.

I guess Nux swapped it out when Slit and Max were scuffling.

So you... liked it?

First like expressed here, maybe. Good on you. But I think it's a different scuffle referred to. Sounds like, anyway.

There ya go. Expected some deranged fanboy would chime in with some ludicrous explanation.
Seeing all your posts and the sad amount of time you seem to devote to this movie, not surprised that it should be you, bruce.

Gosh, you're right about EVERYTHING, pdlussier1. That's unreal.

Must be that too much CGI idea. They CGI'd the tire back on.

Anyway, goof found. Plus the movie mistake.

Wonderful. I do enjoy being right.

After hearing so much hype re MMFR from a certain segment, including all the "Masterpiece", "A solid 10/10", or, basically, the "Anyone who is a hater is a retard" comments, when I finally did watch it yesterday I was genuinely surprised to see a film containing so many errors and goofs, as well as a slew of unsound plot elements and developments which fans readily dismiss with highly specious reasoning.

The goof/error board for this film probably has, I think, the most entries, and the 2 I mentioned weren't even listed.

Seeing the volume of "unrealistic/unfeasible" complaints given to other films by the same mentality that excuses these flaws in MMFR, seems to me a high level of bias is affecting people's judgment on this one. I have my theories as to why...

It's not a terrible movie by any standard, but in no way is it "perfect" or worth even half the hype it received. The things it does do well——mainly, costumes, set design, hair & makeup, special effects, and stunts——were amply recognized, but eye candy isn't sufficient to qualify this as masterpiece. And that's my opinion.

You can continue with your patronizing attitude all you want, as I'm aware that people who fetishize such films are rarely able to have a reasonable discussion anyway.

If you can't defend a movie without bashing another, you will be put on ignore. No exceptions.
