Too cool.

Basically, Max is just a nobody that pops up and *beep* up his empire and he doesn't even manage to know who the hell he is. LMAO.

That's the movie's biggest weakness, the fact that Max is basically superfluous. It's a movie about Furiosa vs. Joe, Max is just a hanger-on and an "entry character". He doesn't really affect the outcome of events.

Mad Furiosa: Fury Road also doesn't roll off the tongue very well.

I Disagree. Max is as crucial to the plot as Furiosa to the point that they can be qualified as co-heroes. It's like a buddy cop movie where each major turn in the story effects both main characters. It just so happens in this story that Furiosa actively plots against Joe from the beginning, while Max gets caught up in the fiasco, figures out what's going on, and ultimately joins her in her efforts. It's a brilliant smokescreen.
