In the scene with the storm in the desert.

What kind of storm was that? It just looked weird to me lots of dust swirling around and weird lightning.

Or is that normal for a storm in a desert?

So the filmmakers exaggerated things. In an action film. Science fiction.

The film moves along in a matter of fact way without explaining, but expect the uniqueness of the storm is tied to a nuclear exchange that "killed the world". Climate change.

What no man Can give ya. And none Can take away.

Most of the fantards here think that's how sandstorms are, and those who don't, think that's how storms will be when they define physics...brought on by nuclear fallout and climate change.

So I guess Godzilla will be in the next Mad Max flick and it will accepted as non-fiction...a documentary for retards.

Lifting vehicles and persons into the sky isn't so normal, so that's more dramatic effect. But it does approximate the incredible real world events soldiers experience in combat and regular folk experience during natural disasters.

In most cases, I try to look if not for realism than definitely for logic in movies like these.
But as for this storm... man, this is a post-apocalyptic world with all kinds of crazy stuff!
