I guess this ripoff just turned out to be a minor fad, almost bankrupting Lion$gate $tudios, while the appeal of BATTLE ROYALE endures eternal:

There should be a Parental Disclaimer on this DVD, letting parents know of the dirivitive content, We read the overview and no where did it say anything about this being a BR2 ripoff honed from the Japanese original. Even for Hollywood this was just sad and unbecoming of their talents.
