Trash the film. I don't care. Was weird, but it definitely isn't for the PC, or other vaginal belches (more than likely you). Here's a tip: don't watch stuff you generally wouldn't like anyway.

Paul love it!

I agree...with a title like a "Hanger", about abortion revenge, what do people expect?

"How about 68 and I owe you 1?" Street Trash

reply

Agreed. It kills me how many people get in arms about specific horror films when the plot alone tells you EXACTLY what kind of film to expect. "Hanger" was obviously meant to be exactly what it is....a trashy exploitation film, yet some seem to expect "Casablanca."

I also don't get the comments about "reeking of desperation." It is very clear what kind of filmmaker Ryan Nicholson is and wants to be---it has been from the very beginning and anyone who has seen his previous films knows this.

With that said, I do think "Gutterballs" is a better film for a variety or reasons. I also thought the ending to "Hanger" was rather abrupt and that Leroy deserved a fate FAR worse than he received.

I was expecting to see cessna's and gliders..... maybe the red baron!

from non fan point of view it lost my attention when it got to the part where the 2 guys are watching porn in which I couldn't help but think wtf would be the diff between that scene and say renting a porn flick and give it to some mentally handy caps... didn't see the purpose to go any further, guess just not my genre:S...

Guess not..

Its my genre though. Loved it!

Wow, this is an old thread. Hopefully you'll see this and respond.

I just finished watching Hanger and loved it. I can see you were possibly inspired by Street Trash (one of my favs), maybe not, but it might seem that way because I haven't felt this dirty after watching a movie since ST. Anyways, loved Hanger and Gutterballs. Can't wait for Gutterballs 2.

Also, I was curious if you've seen any of the films Necrostorm has put out? I noticed you mention you make movies for yourself, and I figured you'd probably like some of their stuff. Adam Chaplin was great, Hotel Inferno, Taeter City and Judy are all rad films. If you haven't seen them give them a watch.

reply

Also agree. The movie has problems, mainly production and plot holes, but it has a certain amount of character that's hard to deny.

there wasnt even a hanger scene, it was edited on a dvd marked "uncut". booooo
nothin but a gorehound

reply

I personally loved the flick. And YES i saw the hanger go inside... and then some. One reason why I loved the movie was all the sickness. There is even a gut-$%#@'n scene. You need to find the correct UNCUT version before you watch a flick like this.

I highly recommend his other flicks as well.

Namely: Gutterballs where you see a rape by sharpened bowling pin scene. ;)

I did see "Gutterballs", and the closest thing to violence in that was the Nihilists chasing The Dude with giant scissors. And they didn't even catch him. 

That means you either didn't watch it like you claim, or you watched a heavily edited version.

I collect dead pigeons then I press them between the pages of a book.

Tell ya what, slappy- watch it and find something worse than the scissors bit.
