On ebay right now buying all the other Plotdigger movies. I like the honesty of what the director is doing, make a movie for people who like this kind of movie. It succeeds at every level for me.

Good for you, Dave! If wimmin don't appreciate these movies you're too happy to buy, because it makes light of a crime that destroys lives in ways you, I assume, don't directly know, then screw 'em, right! Why care what other people, especially wimmin, feel, right? You like what you like, and it doesn't matter why, or what that means! Don't question, just keep buying things, and for those that think wimmin are brutalized enough in real life, such that they can't laugh at brutalizing wimmin in fantasy, well, why care about their feelings, or any feelings. Those wimmin and their supporters should just "lighten up," right?
Imagine what worlds would open to you were you willing to actually feel for other people!
Why are you here? What do you hope to "get" from all these posts and why can't you understand that "different strokes for different folks" applies even in film.
Are you looking for a refund or some sort of compensation for what you witnessed in these films? A hand written apology from Ryan? Or is it that you are just lonely and need some interaction, even if negative and confrontational, to fill the emptiness in your life? From where I sit this is all a complete waste of time unless you really just love a good argument. I'm sure there is some coffee house or "hipster" book store you could drum up a good argument in if that's your fancy.
I doubt you were tied up and MADE to watch any of Ryan's films so what's your deal? Why can't you just let it go and free up these boards for some other discussions? I doubt I will reply to you further as this seems to only "fuel the fire" but I want you to know that I feel pity for you, for not being able to live free, for being a prisoner of your own mind, for never being able to HONESTLY partake of anything with an open unbiased mind and having to live the rest of your days so tightly wrapped and angry.

You don't think I am "free" or socially successful because I don't want people to think it is cool to make films like this? I AM free, and want a world where people are free to walk down the street without the fear of violence, sexual or otherwise. If there were a bunch of sick boys jerking off to some rape-porn ("acted" or otherwise), I would not just leave them alone and let them have a good time.
In this film, Leroy meets a less invasive demise than does his NUDE FOR THE WHOLE FILM prostitute, who YOU murder with a douche-vacuum-thing? How messed up is that? This film COULD have been a really powerful, though still sickening, film (ala' Basket Case, Castle Freak, Imprint, Dumplings, etc.) and the sadness of being abandoned, but instead it is just an excuse to exact hateful violence against wimmin (all FIVE prostitutes, the Jehova's witness), which only DISTRACTED from the plot. I know too much about horror and about film to pretend that YOU are being honest. It would have been easy to make a gory-as-hell, sickening flick WITHOUT racism, queerphobia and misogyny (see August Underground's "Mordum"), but that's not what y'all wanted to do. You just wanted to laugh at things that are only funny to sick people. Shocking people with violence is one thing, and a thing I respect. Minimizing the reality of it and sexualizing it is REALLY irresponsible. It isn't responsible for men treating wimmin as objects, but it certainly is closer to being part of the problem than the solution.
Okay, you're right, now what? Can we all go on our merry way?
There is no hidden message to the film nor has there ever been a claim to one.
To be totally honest, I loved every sick thing we did in this film and I wouldn't change a thing except for doing all the other senseless, sick and disgusting stuff we didn't have the budget or time for.
Don't know why you can't just make a movie just to make it. Not going to change because you think there is some defect in these films or you think that the director is this or that.... so it brings me back to my original question..... "What do you hope to "get" from all these posts".

Our fans are awesome, very sane and grounded people who are not more or less likely to commit these types of acts than anyone else. You have no right to group all these people together and make that type of assumption it's not fair to them.
I think I'm done with this, it's been a hoot but I would rather concentrate my energies on fun and happy things not cyber arguments on issues I really don't care about and that's honesty right there!

For its genre this is a cinematic masterpiece. It's one of those films that tell me who much I really relate and connect with a person my sense of humor is fooked and this movie made me laugh nonstop. The worst
Part of this movie is that it had to end I could have watched 5 plus hours with the characters plot and script. But for the duration it is a solid flick that SHOULD NOT be rated as low as it is. Its at the very leaat should be on average a high six on average I'd give it an 8 out of 10. People who don't like this movie and rate it so low are not fans of this genre of film
