Tyler Perry said his wife is half asian on the movie. I've read that on her bio as well, but she doesn't look half asian at all. Maybe one of her parents could be half asian, but she doesn't look it at all, no asian features or anything, if anything very very very slight asian features.

Maybe your perception of Asian features is very limited. They come in a wide variety.

I find this quite interesting. I immediately assumed that she was half Asian the minute I saw her in Dream Girls. I guess I knew this because I have a cousin that is married to a woman that is half black and half Filipino. They both have similar features.

Well I couldn't tell either, I rolled my eyes T that scene. A biracial person that clearly looks black love to announce every chance they get that they are mixed, while one that could pass for another race, does not.

There are Asians with black skin. Especially those in India.
